This is best printed in PLA a bit hotter than usual, so that you get good adhesion of the layers. If you must print in a plastic which does not bond well, such as ABS then there is a hole up through the middle to take an optional M4 x 50mm machine screw to strengthen the layers forming the threads to reduce the chances of them snapping off. If your printer prints a thick first layer (as mine does) then you may need to trim the edge of the hole in the base with a knife before inserting the drill bit. This is designed to be a tight fit and may need a gentle tap with a hammer to insert it. It should be a tight enough fit without gluing.
