I made a two-liter bird feeder and from a 2 liter soda bottle and glued a hook to it, and the next morning, it was on the ground. I thought there had to be a better way. This simple design simply pierces the sides with two small holes and holds it very securely. Use a knife to make two opposite holes about 2mm (1/8"), inset hanger and you're done.
