About this 3D model

A small, brain-shaped cabinet with four drawers. (one is in the eyeball) Ideal gift for a neuroscientist or for people with a fetish for brains. I went for a two tone look with wood filament in a darker and lighter shade. (check out 'Printing Details' below for more!) This project was inspired by the "Band Saw Box 'laminated'" by Franc Falco. Contours of the brain and sulci are based on this illustration by artist and medical illustrator Patrick J. Lynch, which is distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution 2.5 License 2006. I did take some liberties with the brain anatomy in favour of more sensible drawer anatomy (in particular with the separation between bottom and middle drawer).
