About this 3D model
A strong, die holder wrench tool, used to hold a 21mm outside diameter die, to cut "2-56" or "M2" threads, at the end of common RC servo pushrods. It is designed to be easily 3D printed, without any support, on a modern inexpensive 3D Printer. This object includes two holes that are pre-threaded to accept M3 screws, in order to secure the die in place. It can be printed with a variety of materials, including PLA, PETG, ABS and other type of printable materials. PLA works very well for this application. It is easy to print. The tool should be durable, easy to maintain, and last for a long time. However, it should not be stored or kept at high temperature, exceeding ~55 C (~ 130 F). Should the tool be left in a high temperature environment, such as a parked car in the summer, I strongly recommend using another heat tolerant material, such as PETG or ABS to prevent warping.
