About this 3D model

A sturdy print in place, variable geometry, fold-flat Phone Stand, designed for medium to large size phones. It can be easily 3D printed, without any support, on a modern inexpensive 3D Printer. The object can be printed with a variety of material, including PLA, PETG, ABS and other type of printable materials. PLA works very well for this application. It is easy to print and will yield a strong part. The phone stand should be durable and easy to maintain for a long time. However, the stand should not be stored or kept at high temperature exceeding ~55 C (~ 130 F). Should the phone stand be left in a high temperature environment such as a parked car in the summer, I strongly recommend using another heat tolerant material such as PETG or ABS to prevent warping.
