About this 3D model

The R-40 measures 40 x 40 x 16 mm, has step size 1.01° and a measured torque of 470 N mm. The fine-pitched teeth require a high-resolution 3-D printer for accurate printing, such as the Stratasys Objet260 Connex3 or equivalent. The gear can be 3-D printed or laser-cut from 2 mm POM or equivalent. For the axle a Lego Technic axle can be used. The silicone seals are to be laser-cut from 0.5 mm silicone rubber, in size 10.2 x 10.2 mm.
