About this 3D model
A robust bracket designed to hold an adjustable shelf in a bookcase or a kitchen cabinet with ¼” (~6mm) diameter hight adjustment holes. The peg spacing is 1 ¼” (~31.8mm). This seems to be the North American standard, since I can use this bracket design to replace the old, worn-out brackets that came with my bookcases and kitchen cabinets. The part can be easily 3D printed on a modern inexpensive 3D Printer. It can be printed with a variety of materials, including PLA, PETG, ABS and many other types of printable materials. PLA works very well for this application. It is easy to print. The object should be durable, easy to maintain, and last for a long time. However, it should not be stored or kept at high temperature, exceeding ~55 C (~ 130 F).
