These rulers are so that you can more easily measure movement in games when it is not in a straight line, but instead goes around corners or around obstacles. As it uses magnetic joints to remove the chance of the ruler breaking at the bottom of your bag, and so it can be taken apart easily for transport. You need flat circular 5x1 mm magnets for the design. The ruler can be any size from 1" to 12", depending on how many links you attach.
