About this 3D model

This is a fully printable worm gear model set up to be an educational aid and was created for a project at Michigan Technological University. The worm is very difficult to print and took me a few trys, I recommend using very small layer height instead of support. As you can see there are some imperfections on the worm from pulling support material off. Also you will need glue to mate the shaft to the worm, the knob to the shaft, and the shaft holders to the base.
