About this 3D model
My Patreon supporters get this model free! :) Assembly projects are lots of fun, and each presents its own unique problems to be solved. Take this one, for example. I wanted to be able to assemble pentagonal faces into a bowl or into a complete hexagon. This meant connectors between the faces that didn't require the faces themselves to move, since by the time we get to the last face, it's all fixed in place. Solution - double connectors that slide onto matching prongs and hold it all together. Now, while the overall form is pure solid geometry, the frame-like structure is inspired by bazaars and markets, and gleefully makes a claim for form over function :D Enjoy!
