About this 3D model
Birdhouse caches are always a great option for hiding something in plain sight. This multipart print assembles into a very recognizable style of birdhouse that's all held together by a single pin, the perch. The roof and inner walls (with supports) assemble into an inner skeleton, while the exterior prints as a single five sided box with an open top. Once assembled the perch slides through the entirety of the birdhouse holding the two portions together. For additional stability the depression in the inner, rear, wall of the exterior shell can hold a 10mm neodymium magnet. The perch has a similar spot to hold either a 6mm neodymium magnet, or a small screw to connect with the magnet in the birdhouse. The outer shell has a few small discs on the edges to help with bed adhesion and lifting on the corners. These can be cut after printing or the model dipped slightly into the print bed to omit them from the slice.
