About this 3D model
Wanted some labels for my IKEA Billy Bookcases to identify and organize my Books, DVDs, CDs, etc. The STLs are designed to be angled inward on the backside for a better secure fitting. There are 2 basic Billy Bookcase widths and the different widths(Narrow vs Standard) had different shelf thicknesses - .75" (~19mm) for the narrow version vs .80" (~20mm) for the standard version. Both side label frames are included. For labels - create text box that is 3/4" (19mm) high and adjust width to fit length of words typed into the box. Mirror Reverse text image and laser print onto standard white paper - ink jet printing will not work. Z-height of STL model needs to be adjusted as needed to fit length of text box before slicing. Uncheck uniform scaling so only Z-axis dimension is adjusted. Slicing should result in each layer being single filament line width. After printing, I used my Mod Podge Image Transfer to 3D Printed Surface technique I have also posted.
