Click here for a working tile-holder! Full Album of tiles Transparent PNGs of all current tiles for planning Transparent PNGS of Expansion Set 1 Tiles Presenting Hex Quest, a free to download 3D printable, low-poly-ish world mapping system created for paper and pencil RPG systems such as D&D, Pathfinder, etcetera. All 1-inch tiles have been optimized for 3D printing to require no supports, and have been tested and re-tested with an FDM printer equipped with a 0.3mm nozzle for detail quality and strength. How you use this system is up to you! -If you don't want to use the provided grid, glue pieces of sheet magnet to the backs and make maps on magnetic whiteboards, or your fridge! -Make big maps for your group's world, glue everything down on a board and hang it on the wall! -Make little maps at the table for small campaigns! (Mini maps!)Let everyone grab tiles and build your world cooperatively! -Have adventure hooks prepared for different unique location tiles, let players replace Mystery tiles on your map from a random draw bag maybe, who knows? If you want to make your own tiles, you have my blessing! Suggestion: Print forests, paths, and river tiles in green, then color in the roads and water with a bit of paint, colored tape, or whatever you have available. Mountains in brown, oceans in blue, you get the idea! This was a couple weeks worth of modeling exercise, and I had a lot of fun. I hope some of you manage to have some fun with it as well!
