About this 3D model
SP16 This is my simplest and most reliable weight driven clock. It has an 8-day runtime and an accuracy of 1-2 minutes per week. All gears sit on three arbors making it very compact with a small bill of materials. This makes it even easier to build than my "Easy Build" clocks. The overall size is 7.7" (196mm) wide, 11.6" (295mm) tall, and 6.1" (156mm) deep, not including the pendulum. Printing takes around 35 hours on a 250x210mm or 220x220mm size printer using 0.9kg of PLA. You can download the assembly guide at https://www.stevesclocks.com/sp16 if you want to see the details before purchase. You can ask questions during your build or share pictures on my debug forum at https://www.stevesclocks.com/groups Video of the clock https://youtu.be/69z-Xcjxyfs Parts kits are available at https://www.etsy.com/listing/4471169389/sp16-compact-clock-parts-kit 09-May-2026 Update: Added step files for dial.
