About this 3D model
Boost Me 3D modeling is fun, but it takes time! ⏳ If you enjoyed this design, a boost ? would mean a lot and help me create even more. ? This lamp is a three-dimensional high-res lithophane representation of the Earth, designed to encapsulate the surface details of continents. When a bulb is placed inside, it illuminates the intricate topography. The lamp stands on a simple yet elegant triangular base that supports the spherical lithophane. This design is available for 3D printing, allowing for a personal touch of astronomy in the comfort of your home. Made using 3dSolarLithophane script on github, bayonet lock designed by me. Why is there no print profile? because makerworld can't process such a high definition file in set amount of time they specified, when you'll slice the Earth, it can take around 3-10 minutes, depends on your machine you can download attached 3MF files as print profiles earth_0_20mm - 0.20mm layer height - 16 hours print earth_0_16mm - 0.16mm layer height - 21 hours print Size High-res Earth Globe, diameter approx.: 200 mm / 7.8 in Hole for light bulb, approx. diameter: 55 mm / 2 in Lamp kit E26/27 lamp socket, 12 ft braided cord, on/off switch - amazon For my fellow Czechs (that's what I bought) - Allegro or Poland Allegro Buy compatible LED light bulbs, 25-40W should be fine Print instructions and time 21 hours on 0.16mm resolution (on pictures) 16 hours on 0.20mm resolution Supports: no!
