About this 3D model

Version 2 of my popular Steam Train Whistle Set . This whistles have only 2 tubes. However, the choosen geometry generates suitable overtones that ensure the realistic sound. The whistle can be blown softly or loudly. There are 3 versions (low, medium and high pitch). The new version has been optimized for 3D printing. Due to the changed geometry and alignment on the print bed, long bridges no longer need to be printed. A small drawback is the narrow contact surface, which - depending on the filament and print bed used - may require the use of a brim. Important: Print the whistles in the specified orientation and not too fast! By the way: I have designed many whistles, you can find them in my Whistle Collection .
