About this 3D model
This is an adaptor which lets you use the [cheaper & more readily available] Lay-Z spa filters on your Cleverspa hot tub! It has an M60x3 female thread on the bottom that attached to your Cleverspa, then you put the Lay-Z spa filter onto the central column and put the lid on, it's as simple as that! The central thread (on the top) is a standard M16x2 female thread, and I will include a bolt you can print, otherwise you can use any normal M16 bolt (well, set-screw actually, but meh..) The bottom section is one complete unit with equal slots laid out in Fusion 360. The attached photo is a render from 360, but the unit has been printed and used on my friend's Cleverspa hot-tub! There is purposely some space between the OD of the Lay-Z spa filter and the ID of the main body, this is to allow good water flow in order to ensure that the whole filter is used. I would print the main section as it sits in the render, as I purposely tapered the bottom so it can [at a push] be printed without supports around the perimeter. At worst it will need a few. I have done similar with the internal column; spin it around and take a look. It's not a quick print, and I think the body takes around 1 day, 8 hours in standard (depending on your settings), but this is 3D printing, nothing is quick :) Hope this helps somebody. P.S. I can tweak this if you need me to, just ask. I'm only just learning Fusion 360, so feel free to let me know of any simple refinements that I'm missing.
