Simple ball and socket adapter for riding bicylces. Socket needs a liner for improved comfort. This one can also be 3D printed in flexible material or simple foam can be used. Version one is the ball and socket adaptor, version 3 includes a modification to allow adjusting friction by tightening a screw in the joint to improve the "feel" of control when using the adapter. Ball part needs a hefty push (a hammer helps) to be inserted in socket.
