Recently I had to use a 2KG spool of ABS for my QIDI TECH printer, which can not mount a spool so big. So, I got creative. I designed a quick and simple 2KG spool holder that doesn't need any additional parts or assembly--just put the bar through the spool, and then seat the bar on the arms of the holder. Then sit on a flat surface. Super simple Holds spools up to 21cm in diameter and 15cm wide. No supports needed; I printed mine in 20% infill in PLA and seems to be holding up just fine. Print as oriented in the file. There's three files in the download; one is the rack, and the other is two variants of the bar. The first is the bar as a whole single print, if you have a printer that can print to a height of 19.9cm; otherwise, print the 'split' version of the bar (you'll have to glue the two sides together. You will, however, need a minimum print area of 17.3cm x 8.9cm x 14cm to print the single-piece rack
