About this 3D model

This piece represents the legend of Adonis, and depicts Aphrodite kissing the lips of the dying youth. Adonis, in Greek mythology was a young man of incredible beauty. Charmed by his beauty, Aphrodite brought the son to Persephone who had to take care of him. The Queen of the underworld, Persephone, refused to give the boy back to Aphrodite when its time came. Zeus, decided that Adonis would live his life with Aphrodite, Persephone and Zeus himself.
