About this 3D model

You travel through the Deep Dark Woods. Sure, you could have taken the path around, but in this way you cut at least a couple of hours on your way back home. Suddenly a spiny shadowy figure draws your attention. Startled you turn, only to see a cherry blossom, vaguely human in shape. The branches kind of look like long fingers if you squint but it is the mask it has for a face, carved deep into the core of the tree, that makes you uneasy. Who would do that? And a Demon Mask nonetheless! Quickly you turn to leave the tree far behind. Once you take a couple of steps, you hear the creaking sound of wood. Breathless you take a slow glance over your shoulder, only to see the tree has moved and the mask is staring back at you. I wanted to do another take on the d&d treant, since I didn't like the rigid, awkward looking versions. Instead, I wanted to go for something more eery, natural looking.
