About this 3D model

This is a customizer for a Neutrik D-Series Breakout Box. The Neutrik D-Series panel mount system has become the defacto standard to rack panel punch-outs due to their flexibility and ease of use. They have become so popular that you can now find wall plates with D-Series punch-outs, instead of keystone jacks. The box is designed to use M3 bolts and nex nuts. For my purpose, I created a small breakout box that I can put on commentator's table where they can plug their microphone and headset into. You can wire a cable through the back plate, but I chose instead to mount a 14mm Neutrik Mini-con jack for a removable cable. I have included the SCAD file that can be used with OpenSCAD to customize this box to your needs.
