Our Lady of Paris is arguably one of the most famous cathedrals in the world. A medieval Roman Catholic Church, it was built in 1163 and stands as a fine example of French Gothic Architecture. The Cathedral was memorialised in Victor Hugo's 1831 novel The Hunchback of Notre Dame, and continues to be a popular tourist destination due to the expansive and elaborate decor on its facade.
