Tiberius Caesar Augustus was the second Roman Emperor and known as one of the greatest Roman generals. He was also seen as a dark, gloomy personality who never really desired to be a Roman Emperor. After the death of his son, he definitely retired and left the reign in the hands of the established bureaucracy.
