About this 3D model

Legs for a Begbie Lamp. A Begbie lamp is an early 20th century paraffin powered night time signalling lamp used to send morse messages by the British army in the late 19th and early 20th centuries through into WWI. These lamps are collectors items now, but almost all do not have the three legs that go into holes in the base. These having been removed from the lamps in about 1904. The legs were originally made from soldered tin plate. The files here allow legs to be printed. 3 are needed to support the lamp. The small discs go in the larger ends. I have super-glued the ones in on mine and weathered them with various paints and weathering powders. I have photos of completed and weathered legs, attached to the lamp and inside the lamp where they are carried. Also photos of unfinished legs. The legs are printed on a Prusa Mini using .4mm nozzle .20mm layer height and eSun PETG.
