Cutters were small ships with a single mast. Designed for speed. Though unable to compare in power to the heavily armed ships of the line, these ships played an important role in ferrying supplies & troops, as well as carrying information around the fleet. A gunboat is like a tiny flying bug in comparison to the larger ships-of-the-line. Anyway, they have a useful place in the fleet. The very cheap cost and relative time is taken to build these gunboats could prove a huge advantage. The models in this kit are made for 1/700th Scale. But you can scale them however you like.
