About this 3D model

Modular snap-together sci-fi interior terrain for Kill Team, Necromunda, Zone Mortalis, and any 28mm skirmish game. Eight STL files — bases, floor tiles, and walls — everything you need to start building. OpenLOCK columns are a free download from [Printable Scenery](https://www.printablescenery.com) and work straight out of the box with this set. Built on the OpenLOCK clip system by [Printable Scenery](https://www.printablescenery.com). Tiles snap together with free OpenLOCK clips and rearrange into unlimited layouts. Every game plays on a different station. The OpenTILE™ Two-Piece System Every tile is two pieces: a universal Base Tile and a swappable Surface Tile, connected by the OpenTILE™ peg-and-magnet system. The base handles structural connections (OpenLOCK clips on all sides). The surface tile sits on top and carries all the floor detail. A central peg locates the surface tile; an optional 4mm magnet holds it in place. Swap surface tiles between games to change the floor pattern in seconds — one set of bases serves every theme you'll ever print. OpenLOCK connects tiles side-to-side. OpenTILE connects them top-to-bottom. Together they give you a fully modular station. What's Included (8 STL Files) Base Tiles (2 files) 2x2 Base Tile (50.8 x 50.8mm) 4x2 Base Tile (101.6 x 50.8mm) Surface Tiles (4 files) Deck Plating (2x2) — clean utility plating with ventilation holes and raised panel lip Diamond Tread (2x2) — industrial checker plate with crosshatch tread pattern Floor Grate (2x2) — open ventilation grating with parallel bars over a deep void Cargo Corridor (4x2) — full-length cargo rails, cargo hatch with raised X-brace, floor grating plates, rivets, and hydraulic piston housings Wall Segments (2 files) Corridor Wall 2x2 — horizontal groove lines, structural ribs, central vent with angled louvers Command Corridor Wall 4x2 — groove lines, structural ribs, dual louver vents, conduit run, and access panel with hinges and latch detail Columns — Free from Printable Scenery OpenLOCK columns (I, L, O, T, X) are the standard junction posts used across all OpenLOCK terrain systems. Rather than bundling copies of Printable Scenery's files, we point you directly to the source — they're a free download from [Printable Scenery](https://www.printablescenery.com) and work perfectly with this set. Print Specifications Layer height: 0.20mm (0.12mm for Deck Plating for extra detail) Nozzle: 0.4mmInfill: 10-15%Material: PLA (any colour)Scale: 28mm / 32mm miniaturesGrid: OpenLOCK (1-inch / 25.4mm) Print orientation and supports: Base tiles — face-up, no supports needed Surface tiles — on side, tree supports (auto) Walls — upright, no supports needed Print time: Roughly 6-8 hours total for the full set at 0.20mm on a modern FDM printer. Bases and walls need no supports, so they queue fast. We prefer to print at 0.12mm. Single-colour prints look great — the surface detail creates natural shadow lines. Paint optional. What You Can Build With just this set you can lay out: A walled corridor with walls lining each side An L-shaped junction connecting two corridors Mixed floor zones — grated sections next to smooth plating A command section with the 4x2 Cargo Corridor tile as the centrepiece Add the free OpenLOCK columns from Printable Scenery to finish every junction. Print multiples of the bases and surface tiles to fill out larger boards. Every surface tile works anywhere on the station. OpenLOCK Clips This set uses the OpenLOCK connection system by Printable Scenery. You need OpenLOCK clips to connect tiles — they're a free download from [Printable Scenery](https://www.printablescenery.com). Print a batch once and reuse them with any OpenLOCK-compatible terrain. Magnets (Optional) The base-to-surface connection uses a friction-fit peg by default. For extra hold during play, drop a 4mm x 2mm neodymium magnet into each recess (one in the base, one in the surface tile). Not required — the peg alone keeps tiles located.
