About this 3D model

Cover for Swann-Morton 10a scalpel blade with 3 handle. More specifically it fits a VERY old number 3 handle possibly 40 years old that is marked BS2982! Newer versions may not fit as well as the geometry may have slightly changed. It may work with other blades and handles (and possibly other manufacturers) but I cannot guarantee it. It's a cheap enough print to try for your combination and I'd appreciate it if you could report success or failure for those combinations by message. Please don't rate this print badly if it doesn't work for unlisted combinations, that's not fair. Modelled in Fusion360, this is a surprisingly complex shape internally. It has sloping sides to guide the blade into the cover and is secured by lightly gripping the sides of the scalpel handle itself. The scalpel blade is entirely enclosed. Prints without support but needs a brim due to the small end area in contact with the plate.
