This little snap on shield helps protect the glass cover from scratches and marks left by the PTFE tube that comes off the print head by preventing it from making contact during printing. The small pointed tip creates a barrier and a smaller, less friction point of contact between the two. For those of you with a Cable Chain, check out my PTFE Clips.
