About this 3D model
Bourdelle created a portrait of Coquelin Aine (1841-1909), a brilliant member of the Comédie-Francaise, in 1893, a few years after that of his brother. In a lively and frenetic style, the actor is depicted in Crispin, valet rascal and bravado of the Commedia dell'arte. A terracotta of this bust was presented at the Salon of the National Society of Fine Arts of 1893.
