The House of Qita, a foundation lost to shadows that was built around the unusual creatures known as the Miyaa'heen, alchemical homunculi believed to be crafted as artisinal pieces devoted to care and pleasure, however in truth their craft was an experiment and served as a vessel which demanded the rended essence of a soul plucked from the cycle of existence. When the first Miyaa'heen, born to serve the Sultan would prove ultimately a failure, the alchemists that served the house and their creations fled into hiding, disappearing from the surface of the great land and hiding away within a fortress known as the Seraglio. The Kedikiz, the Cat Sisters are the core of the House of Qita and the backbone of every band that roves out from the safety of the Seraglio for the benefit of the house. The Qita are not always an unwelcome sight, while they have grown robust from their once sheltered upbringing, they are no less familiar with their purpose of delight and entertainment, and are more than happy to commune with the faithful to ease weary hearts, though they may just be as likely to steal away soldiers in the night, inviting them to an unwitting fate for their souls to fill one of the Qita's empty vessels.
