This is an Anker 737 power bank housing that is compatible with the magsafe inspired mounting system for the Asus ROG ALLY or Lenovo Legion Go. ( https://makerworld.com/en/models/89288 ) or ( https://makerworld.com/en/models/89330 ) As with the base mounting plate model, please read and follow the assembly instructions carefully. *****PLEASE READ ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY***** Prerequisites: Purchase - 56ea of 1/16" thick by 3/16" OD N52 Magnets https://www.mcmaster.com/5862K139/ Purchase - Superglue A fully assembled Ally-Mag or LeGo-Mag Base mounting plate Borrow or purchase - an Iphone Magsafe Battery Bank or Magsafe Charger or Magsafe Mount IMPORTANT NOTE: I used only N52 magnets because these are the strongest magnets. I have no experience with other kinds. Pay Careful Attention to the ICON on the Magnet Plates: “Anker 737 R2 Body” has a Controller Icon in the center. Use the fully assembled Ally-Mag Base mounting plate as the base to put magnets on this part. “Anker 737 R2 Lid” has a Chain Icon in the center. Use a borrowed Iphone Magsafe Charger or Mount as the base to put magnets on this part. POLARITY of how you install the magnets are very important so PLEASE use the correct magnetic base for assembly as described in “2b”. Print the parts of the mount in this post. You can print the tool as well to help with assembly but I didn't use it. Place the “Anker 737 R2 Body” plate on top of your assembled Ally-mag or LeGo-mag base mounting plate. Align the center of the mount base to the middle of the magnet cavities in the printed part. Start placing magnets into the magnet cavities one by one. The magnets should stick to the cavities because of the magnetic mount base below your printed part. Once all magnets are filled up, put a thin layer of super glue in the recessed cavity where the magnets are and attach the printed “Anker 737 R2 Magsafe Cover” on. DO NOT REMOVE THE Ally-Mag base from the assembled part until glue is dry. Repeat steps 4 through 7 for the “Anker 737 R2 Lid” plate but rather than using Ally-mag as the base use a borrowed Iphone Magsafe Charger or Mount for the CORRECT POLARITY. Once glue is fully dried, wait maybe 12 hours, and you can put the parts together. If the lid is a bit too lose for your taste, you can put a bit of double-sided tape behind the front lip to stick to the battery.
