About this 3D model

This is the Mark2 version of the DIYnder - the 3D printable stop motion winder set. There were many updates from the mark1 - herringbone gears, a new locking system many other fixes. If you have already purchased the Mark1 DIYnder, please contact me for a big discount on the Mark2! Linear winders are very useful little tools. They help the animator to have very precise and controlled movements on one single axis at a time. This kit comprises of 2 winder boxes with variable length racks, adjustable friction brakes and a locking knob to hold the rack in a fixed position. It also includes a base that can be either mounted on a support with screws, or fixed in position with weights (the base is designed to fit through an 1-inch barbell weight plate).
