To use this regenerative planter, save roughly 2 inches of the root end of a grocery store green onion, fill the planter with water and place the green onion, root end first, into the planter. There are also holes on the sides of the planter for toothpicks if your green onion needs help staying in place. After a few days, you'll see new shoots forming and after a couple of weeks you'll have green onions that are ready to harvest!
