GE Jet Turbine - UPDATED with SHROUD Used two of my prints to reference for parts and assembly. Glue will be required for the shroud and cowl pieces! The blades and shaft can be built with or without glue but they WILL be loose if you do not glue. I opted to use it, which is why some part's have hazed. You could also weld them together or even leave a majority of it as free floating so you can disassemble if/when you want. Tips for assembling the shroud and cowl, the edges are narrow and some sides are flared to provide more surface area for glue. I would take your time. I recommend using a surface to set one piece down and then set the other peice on top of it, focusing on the alignment of the outside and cutaway edges verses the inside edges I separated on 2 plates to give it some color and reduce purge/waste, but this could be printed on one plate as solid color or however you like. This just seemed the most efficient to me. There are TWO semi-circular blades that slip inside around to the back side. These would be stationary blades but since they are towards the back side of the model and barely visible in my opinion I left these out. I liked to spin mine from time to time and they would get in the way or fall out. If bed adhesion is an issue I would recommend a brim on the problematic pieces but be prepared to trim excess off after. Happy printing! Based on Thingiverse: 3421001 and 392115
