About this 3D model

The head of this restored bust originally belonged to a full-length Roman statue. Similar heads are found on complete sculptures of Meleager, the hero from Greek legend who killed the ferocious Caledonian boar. These statues show him with his huntong dog, spear and the boar's head at his side, possibly Roman additions to the simpler Greek original.The 4th century BC Greek statue on which the Roman figure was based has not survived.
