About this 3D model
Did you know that green and white teas are considered Yin while black teas are considered Yang? And they can be drunk to help achieve a balance if there is too much Yang or Yin in your body condition, the food you eat, or the weather you are in? While I have only superficial knowledge of this ancient Chinese philosophy, it occurred to me that Yin Yang in combination with Bagua (eight trigrams), an ancient form of cosmology, could make a cool tea bag organizer tray. Each of the 8 compartments is sized to comfortably hold 12 tea bags, with 12 also being the number of animals in Chinese zodiac. The center can be left empty to show the Yin Yang symbol, or tea companions such as honey, or more tea bags can be put there. For decorative value, leave the Yin Yang symbol uncovered and some compartments empty. Easily print with PLA without support. Print profile for 3-color print is provided. Colors are set by height range and thus has limited number of filament swaps. The tray is 9.6 inches (245 mm) wide. It almost takes up the entire X1 plate. It will not fit on an A1 mini printer. No assembly is needed. May your Yin and Yang be well balanced. ps: For those who are curious, the arrangement of the eight trigrams used in this design is the “Earlier Heaven” arrangement.
