About this 3D model
I had some new matte PLA to break in and a friend who just bought a house, so I whipped up a bathroom sign for him in Fusion. Decided to prime and hit it with the Rub 'n Buff and it looks amazing! I made two versions - one with fake screws so you can attach it with a Command strip and one with screw holes that will accept a #8 or #10 wood screw. There is a version of each of those on the profile that print either as: mono color (to paint) full-AMS that prints the body as gold with a few layers of black for the recess simple color-swap where the base prints black and the top prints gold I used some old Hatchbox Gold Silk and was not impressed. A brighter more metallic gold might look better, but the rub-n-buff version is my favorite by far. eSUN Matte PLA Milky White Freshly primed with Army Painter Matt Black After dry-brushing on some Rub 'n Buff Antique Gold with a small circular sponge brush.
