About this 3D model

This anglerfish wall mount prints in two parts: the skeleton and the backplate. I printed the fish in translucent Carmine Red PETG and the plate in Bambu’s black basic PLA. After printing, I dry-brushed the wall mount to give it a weathered, stone-like texture, then superglued the fish onto it—no paint or finish was added to the fish itself. Supports are required, especially under the jaw and hook. I recommend slowing the print speed when you reach the ribcage for better detail and reliability. Feel free to experiment with your own color combos—I’d love to see a glow-in-the-dark bait or a gold-on-white combo.
