Valentine's is coming and I wanted to design a unique picture frame,Till Death Picture Frame is the result! Printing: Both skeleton hands require supports, use tree/organic supports for best results.Use a brim as well as the surface area of the fingers is very small.I also added some custom supports on the lower parts of the fingers to make it hold even better.Assembly: Glue the arms to the bases.Put a drop of glue on each finger and push both hands toward each other.The Photo: I added a clean heart shaped 4 layers model that fits the frame,Here are some cool ideas you can do with it You can use it to cut a real photo you own to place it inside the frame.You can generate a lithophane from a photo you own.You can use Gen-AI to alter your photo to something cool in grayscale - And again upload it to a lithophane generator to receive pretty cool results._Note: _For 2 & 3 You might need to do some 3d editing to place the lithophane on the heart, I used ZBrush which is an overkill for this but it's the software I use. Update: after printing the original frame, there were two things that didn’t feel quite right, so I decided to make a few adjustments. In this version, the hands are less arched than in the previous design. I feel this makes the frame look more natural and balanced. I also removed the base - now the frame stands directly on the bones, as the base felt a bit out of place. The original files are still available for download as well!
