About this 3D model

About 100mm tall, this giant fits on a 70mm base. I made this sculpt based on a creature from my dark fantasy novel, Oathbound, for a game I wrote in the same setting. I was inspired by old Anglo-Saxon and Viking myths and legends about giants and monsters, particularly the story of Grendel in Beowulf. "Most like to steel were all the nails, the hand-spurs, horrible spikes of the heathen foe. All declared that no warrior’s sword, albeit keen, could have grazed the monster so as to strike off that bloody talon." - Beowulf Originally released as part of a set in the successfully funded Kickstarter, DEFIANCE: Duel in the Black Keep, this model is now released solo for the first time here on MyMiniFactory. The presupported and hollowed versions of the files were created by Tableflip Foundry, but an unsupported and unhollowed version is included for those hobbyists who prefer to do their own. An unsupported scenic base is also included.
