Gerhard the 3rd of Holstein (1292-1340) was the ruler of Holstein and in that area known as Gerhard the Great. He did help part of the danish nobility throw King Christoffer from the Crown in 1326 and became the guardian of Valdemar the 3rd, Duke of Slesvig. He bacame the biggest pawn owner in Denamtk, owning Jutland and Fuen. He was killed in a battle close to Randers, by Niels Ebbesen, during an uprising of Danish rebellions. Here in leather/plate armour with his characteristic balded head. A two-hand sword and his family sword by his side. Supported/unsupported
