The Bro'hand! A modular 3rd Arm System that allows an incredible range of motion for building and painting Tabletop Miniatures, Terrain, Scale Models and other DIY Projects that you may require a helping hand with. Printing in heat resistant filaments will allow an even greater range of uses. This design uses a simple ball socket(s) mechanism for articulation. Invented in the late 1700's, the ball socket is a tried and true method of achieving these desired results. The custom socket blocks allow fairly simple adjustment of the balls tension using common tools like a slotted (flat head) screwdriver and a pair of pliers. The large base features recesses in the underside to accommodate large steel washers as counter weights. Up to 4 washers, 2 inches in diameter or smaller can be used. Please feel free to remix and alter to your hearts content, we'd love to see how you'd change the Bro'hand to suit your needs!
