Is it a star? Is it a heart? This fascinating model can't make up it's mind! This strange shape looks like two completely different objects from two distinct perspectives. With a mirror, you can see both perspectives simultaneously. Truly mind-blowing! This is my variation of Kokichi Sugihara's Ambiguous Cylinder Illusion, featuring a star and heart appearance. I printed it using MatterHackers Quantum PLA to achieve the amazing color changing effect! The download includes a printable standand a few versions of the model: star2heart_mount.stl - snaps to star2heart_s.stl for connecting to the stand star2heart_noMount_wSupports.stl - Illusion without connection points for the mount and included support material star2heart_noMount.stl - Illusion without connection points for the mount star2heart_s_wSupports.stl - Illusion with mounting points and included support material star2heart_s.stl - Illusion with mounting points and no included supports There are also two versions of the base, and two lengths of printable rods for the base. You can also use any 1/8" rods.
