The Spuyergik, or soothsayers, do not wander the plains with the warrior tribes of the Onishali Steppes. Instead, they lived stationary lives of seclusion in caverns and in shallow valleys between the mountains. Aside from the crowning ceremonies at the Caballus Onaravedi and the occasional religious ceremony, these magic-using spiritual leaders did not travel far beyond their own dwellings and are not involved in the conflicts of the Onishali people. Young warriors would seek out the home of the spuyergik to begin a rite of passage, where they would ingest zreniye flowers and embark on a guided vision quest and receive instructions for the journey ahead.
