Boaab, or snakefolk, are the last bastion of the ancient reptilian empire known as the Three Scales League, which ruled the world before the rise of human and elf civilizations. After their defeat at the hands of the First Altanesi, the Boaab seemed to have retired from history, but they rose again after the second Null War, as one of the three forces that rules the Scourge Triumvirate of Sabaar.With their memory of ancient transgressions still fresh despite the millennia, thanks to their psychic power and traditionalistic culture, the snakefolk seek to conquer the world again, or at the very least punish humans for the humiliation suffered at the hands of their ancestors. The serpentfolk of Valerna are wise and quick-witted. They often serve as the law in the triumvirate whether as simple enforcers or as legislators. They are powerful psions and knowledgeable politicians.
