About this 3D model
This is a very simple spool holder that attaches to the P1S/X1C's original spool holder to bring the spool to the side (laterally), feeds the filament into the printer in the same direction as the stock holder does, and allows use of spools with smaller inside holes. I have a few older filament spools with 32mm inside holes, which cannot fit on the Bambu stock filament holder. This design combines parts from 2 other spool holders in order to provide an easy-to-print holder that requires no extra hardware and allows usage of spools with inner holes as small as 32mm. No bearings or bolts needed Supports spools with inner holes as small as 32mm, but also works well with the Bambu spools Supports spools up to 80mm in width Easy and quick print with fairly low filament usage Spool holder faces behind the printer so the arm does not need to be as long and the filament path can remain mostly as it would be with the stock holder Once printed, snap the clip side of the arm onto the stock spool holder as shown in the pictures. Start with the end furthest from the spool holder itself, latch that under the end of the stock spool holder, then rock this holder arm downward until it latches in place. Print in a durable material such as ABS/ASA or maybe PETG. PLA is NOT recommended. Tested on the P1S and it works great for my needs. Please let me know if it doesn't work for you.
