Over the adventure, the characters will advance to 3rd level. Set in the peaceful town of Brightwood, the party is attempting to prove their worth to the Arrodan Syndicate; in hopes that they will be able to join them. They have been sent by Syndicate captain Evlar to steal the Crystal Maiden, a famous racing skiff that has reopened painful memories within the Arrodan Syndicate and is now on display again in Brightwood. As such, the party must investigate the town, gaining information and potential aid to circumvent the ship's protections and ultimately steal the Crystal Maiden for the Syndicate.
