Summary Minimalistic holder with legs for Wemos D1 mini on the back of the MAX7219 display - clamps simply slides to the MAX7219 PCB. I also uploaded FreeCAD files so you can adjust measures if needed. My ESP8266 clock also has two sensors - LDR for brightness and DS18B20 temperature sensor. This two sensors are attached to the clamp with small slots on bots sides. After several tries and tuning it finally "sat" perectly in my case. Time needed for printing each clamp is about 7min so this is easy and minimalistic solution.
