About this 3D model
After getting my 3d printer, I saw a practical use of 3d printing in the form of creating various containers and storages. The designs I found online looked amazing, but I had one problem with them. Printing these containers would take up almost 5% of my precious filament spool!! Obviously, this is completely and utterly unaffordable, so I began thinking of a solution. Here is what I finally came up with. Toilet Paper Roll Pencil Holders The “Toilet Paper Roll Pencil Holders” are exactly what you would expect them to be. They leverage a toilet paper roll in the design to reduce the amount of needed filament while creating a container that can still umm contain things. Important The toilet paper roll should be at least close to 4cm in diameter Printing Instructions 10% Infill should be enough Assembly Instructions Spread glue all around the bottom circle indented into the bottom piece Press part the toilet paper roll in Work your way around the roll tucking the rest of it in while making sure the first part stays in. (It is meant to be a tight fit so the roll stays put) Repeat for the top piece Fill your newfound masterpiece with stuff Brag to your friends, parents, grandparents, uncles, aunts, distant cousins, dogs, cats, fish, etc., that you created your masterpiece with only 11g of filament
